Hand-carved in warm beige Burgundian limestone. The Georgian Bolection fireplace is one of the few Georgian designs that straddles both contemporary and period interiors. It comes with a mantel 1500 mm long and 240 mm deep. The English Bolection stands 1345 mm high above and has a fireplace opening 914 mm wide by 888 mm high. However, slips can also be supplied, cut to size, if the opening needs reducing further to fit your fireplace.
The English Bolection is carved from 5 pieces of solid stone and can come with a matching limestone outer hearth, as shown, which measures 1450 mm long by 500 mm wide and by 50 mm thick. (Please just tick the "Include Hearth " box if required.) Different sized outer hearths, as well as inner hearths and wall cladding, can all be supplied in matching Burgundian limestone, honed black slate or polished black granite and quoted for if required. (The inner hearth and wall cladding are mainly used if wood burners are being installed as this helps lighten up the fireplace opening).
This fire surround is prepared for fitting before it leaves our workshops and will have all the fixing holes pre-drilled so it is easier to assemble on site.
