From bare hole in the wall to a fully fitted and working fireplace, After the Antique takes care of everything and offers a full installation service for all the fire surrounds we make on a national basis.
Once you have found a fire surround you are interested in we like to arrange a site visit to measure up and present a selection of stones, marbles and granites which can be used for the hearths and slips. At the same time we can present a choice of fire baskets or stoves as well as lining for the fireplace opening.
Finally we provide a written quotation. Once you are happy with this we prepare drawings for your builders showing any work they might need to do before we come on site. During this time we cut and prepare the hearths, slips and lining so that when we come to fit we can aim to install the whole fireplace in one day.
